The history part was quiet simple because you can look that up but to write honestly about their character and temperament takes experience.

A brief look into their history takes us back into time, to be exact the Aztecs period in Mexico. In that period of time some form of hairless cats already existed though the Sphinxs’ of today come from a completely different era and breed.

The first Sphinx is said to have been born in a normal litter of domestic cats in the 1960s’ in Canada. This particular cat is believed to have started this very rare and elegant breed. Of course to widen the bloodlines normal furred cats were bred with Sphinxs.
